Rihanna VS. Katy Perry

They're both so so live singers, both churn out pretty standard manufactured top ten chart material. Both are regularly featured on the likes of Nowseventywhatever and Pop Princesses and winners of Kids Choice awards.. but what makes them worth reporting about on a daily basis?


They're quite the performers you see.

I have observed that as a result of this rivalry in the media paired with their close friendship they seem to follow similiar trends. The latest being BRIGHT hair colour, allow me to demonstrate visually...

They are both well known for their unconventional style of dress which I think is to be admired especially as Rihanna rebelled against her original image as a 'cookie-cutter' teen pop princess in her 'Pon de Replay' years. I personally admire them both (not as serious musical artists) but as human beings and think its really good to see Pop singers like them straying from your classic stereotype COUGH...Britney Spears..COUGH COUGH... Pixie Lott.
