Aztec print, Aztec print.. I like you!

As you can tell from my previous post, i'm liking the aztec prints at the moment. I think it's because i'm broody for summer holidays and I'd think aztec prints on a cold english day are slightly incongruous with their surroundings whereas an aztec bikini, an aztec rucksack or an atec crop top are all very much what I want to see on the beaches of Nice, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and maybe even printed on some wellies at Reading. (Just typing out my various galavantings has given me another surge of excitement! gaaaah)

A bag I really wish I had the money to buy is one of the Wayuu Taya bags which are £145 from net-a-porter. These bags take 20 days to hand weave in latin american communities in particular it is the Wayuu indigenous women and children that work to make these lovely bags. Wayuu Taya is a non-profit organisation as well so thats a further bonus. I like stumbling into nice stories when researching aztec prints + weave (: The pink one is my personal favourite if anyone was wondering which one to send me for my birthday.. cough.. august 8th... cough cough splutter splutter
