Liquid Love : Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane has always been a designer I've appreciated from the second his cosmic collection started appearing. His choice of prints have always been a bit hit from shouting gorillas to mushroom clouds. His neon lace collection in s/s 11 wasn't my favourite. But his a/w 11 made up for it with one signature item...

If I were to have one of these bags.. It would make my decade. They're futuristic with a clear edge of simplicity which comes with the shape of the clutch. Kane's inspiration for his collection were plastic school pencil cases, lava lamps and lollipops. How each of the three link I'm not quite sure but I guess you need quirky inspiration to think up a liquid filled clutch right? The prices start at £385.. anyone fancy buying me a birthday present?
