I am slowly getting ever more excited about the imminent trip I will be taking to Sri Lanka and The Maldives with mein famile and my lovely friends, the Patricks! As a result of my imminent departure from this country I am slowly mounting a great deal of panic that I will leave and have:
- Forgotten a charger
- Forgotten to pack decent clothes
- Forgotten to dip dye my hair lilac
- Forgotten to get a bikini wax
- Forgotten to plan my work experience at Tesco Head Office
- Lost my camera
etc. etc.. I have therefore been organising franticly so I don't forget any of the above things. Plus! I've been entered into sports day and am running 800m in front of my whole school which will add a bit of EXTRA stress to the week. I hope to be coming back a deep shade of toffee so bought two new bikinis, one from asos and one from matalan:
A
B
One was £27 and the other £12 but I'm fond of both. I had already purchased bikini A when I found snakeskin featuring in August's Vogue (pg.93) under 'A pop of python' which is always nice to see. I liked the retro look of the rectangular bikini top from matalan.

Another thing I spotted ( if you'll excuse the pun;) ) is spots + dots. They're in most of the recent fashion magazines and especially in Stella McCartney's A/W 11 collection (i'll post a picture). I have recently bought a really sweet midi spot skirt which I am now quietly pleased to see matches up with what i'm seeing on the catwalk in my own, little, second hand way.
