Rucksacks are Back

I used to wear a backpack to school all through primary as I'm sure most of us did, but me being a tomboy I styled my backpacks with a certain bit of added flair. I would loosen the straps as low as they would possibly go so as I walked I would practically be kicking my back pack behind me.. at every bounce of the bag I was reminded of quite how cool I was.

Anyhow! I have drifted far far from the backpack ever since but have a new found love for the rucksack. I bought an aztec print rucksack for £1 from my one and only - The Salvation Army a while back and recently saw that a bag VERY similar to my own in an article on the Marie Claire website ( LINK ) said rucksack is sold out on ASOS at the staggering price of £45. Again, I felt quitely satisfied at my ability to trend forecast as I personally prefer my own slightly tattered aztec rucksack to the famous one:
My Bag: Their Bag:

Just to think I could have bought 45 of mine for the price of one of theirs makes me pleased. I love the ASOS one of course as the leather straps add a certain je ne ce qua to the equation I must admit. Another nice rucksack is that of Pierre Hardy's A/W 11, it's suede, leopard print and FAAABULOUS (said in the tone of Jim Carey from Bruce Almighty) I want it:
